Ingerid Margrete

Ok so this is me. I was born in Oslo in 1986, and still live in Norway (take a peek at a world map, its the looong, mountainy country to the north). I study at a university called (my translation) “The Norwegian University of Biological and Environmental Sciences” and rent a house at a farm with Sigurd and our dogs. My spare time is mostly spent on dog training, and this blog is mostly about the training of Orkan.

I have always loved dog training big time! For some wierd reason God placed me in a very allergic family, so when growing up I borrowed the dogs of neighboors and friends and taught them all kinds of funny tricks and habits. As soon as I moved out of course I got some dogs of my own. I train and compeet in agility, but our dogs are trained in other diciplines as well.

We have three dogs, you can read more about them on their own pages. Bris (breeze) is Sigurd’s baby. She is going to be a hunting and will do some agility as well. Storm used to compeet in agility, but his back has been giving him trouble, so he retired early and is now our lap-dog, the most calm and cuddly dog in the world! Orkan (hurricane) is my up and coming agility star. My goal is great success in the agility ring, but I would never compromize with having great fun as we go. Orkan is an intelligent, fast and intense dog, the kind that could get far competition-wise, so it’s more or less up to me how far we get. I love my dogs and have fun, time will show where we end up 🙂
